I'm simultaneously annoyed and amused when I read posts where folks on the forum bellicosely exclaim how THEY aren't going to adhere to a 30.06 sign if it isn't absolutely perfect in every way...thus my previous bit of jocularity...

My post was tongue in cheek.
If I see an out of spec 30.06 sign, I still adhere to it...I'm not one to push the limits.

As it is, many seem to think if a 30.06 sign isn't absolutely to spec it can be ignored even when posted in a proper location as in: The letters are only 1/2" high (not 1" as required) so it can be ignored or the Spanish language portion is missing, or a word is out of place, etc...
Am I the only one wondering if very large, not spec 30.06 signs anchored into the ground are legitimate and can be ignored? Afterall, they're not located in the proper place...
