Greyhound & Trailways have (or did, I haven't been in a bus station in decades) lockers of various sizes.

At one time, you would put your luggage in one, put in a quarter or whatever depending on the size locker you chose, close the door, turn and pull out the key and take the key with you. If I recall correctly a quarter (or more) was good for 24 hours or you would put in more quarters for a longer storage time.

How secure are they? I don't know. Fairly I guess, as we used them a lot and never had one broken into. If I had no other choice, I guess I'd use an old beat up suitcase and store them in that, put it in the locker and go.
