For many years, after carrying my Glock 19 immediately behind my right hip, I've found with advancing age that reaching behind me is awkward, slow and at times painful.

Now, I appendix carry so as not to have to overly reach behind me. It's allows much faster access (for me anyway...) and conceals quite nicely.

Note: Appendix carry can be deadly - Should you use this carry method, keep in mind if you negligently depress the trigger while drawing or re-holstering, you're subject to hitting your femoral artery or your gentlemen parts. Obviously, great care must be taken using this method of carry.
