Times change and many aren't flexible about it.

Few had clothes dryers when I was a kid, most everyone line dried. Outside T.V. antennas pushed rabbit ears aside and were the height of technology, every house had one or more sprouting off the roof.

Were I to see clothes on lines and T.V.antennas on every roof I wouldn't bat an eye, but I can certainly understand how others may find them an eye sore.

Too they're emblems of yesteryear and to some extent a lower socio-economic order and will completely disappear like the buggy whip in the not too distant future.

For the most part they already have...
