Re: No longer patronizing Jason's Deli.
TDDude,
Free - "sigh" - isn't, if you must first pay, no matter how giddy you become with anticipation.
However, if you think it is, well alrighty then, I have a bridge for sale, ah, free that is...just for you.
Soft serve ice cream is often available at a number of the Asian "stuff your face until you explode" (for a set fee) restaurants too.
They won't tell you it's free...
One day, I hope to be able to get that fourth bar of soap free, without having to buy the other three first. Hold it, I'm just so inspired I feel a need to sing, ahem, me me me me me, To dream the impossible dream, To fight the unbeatable foe, To bear with unbearable sorrow, To run where the brave dare not go, O.K. I'll stop there...
Now, you can stand on my lawn for free, but the shoe space'll cost ya!
I know in Shangri-la the ice cream is free and so is the soap. Really, no kidding,
Sigh...

Re: No longer patronizing Jason's Deli.
Free Ice Cream? As in, you can walk in off the street and help yourself?
Or, if you buy something first, which of course makes it...not free, just less costly.
This is one of pet peeves. That is, when stuff is touted as free when it's not. It's something of an old marketing scam. Here's one of my favorite types: Buy 3 bars of soap and the 4th is free, for only 1 dollar. Ah, no. It's simply and only 4 for .25 cents each. It may very well be a good deal, but it AINT free!

Re: No longer patronizing Jason's Deli.
If any business posts any type of no gun sign - their action "tells" you to take your business elsewhere.
If you're willing to disarm to enter their business, I'm sure they'll be glad to have your patronage, but they're equally happy if you pass them by or they wouldn't post such signs to begin with...
