Just like comparing the cost for servicing a Honda Accord and a Ferrari over a period of 3 years, the Ferrari will "lose". But in a race for my life I would want to be driving the Ferrari.
And I carry a 1911. Properly maintained and operated, I find the 1911 to be superior in every way except capacity, which is low on my list of things I require of a carry gun.
Next up, compare the Glock to a S&W Model 19 revolver and see which has fewer malfunctions.
Pointless "contest" in my opinion.
