Re: School playground
Playground is not part of the "Premises" unless a school sponsored event is taking place there. If it is during recess (do they even do that anymore?) or any kind of practice (sports/band/whatever) I would stay away from it. IANAL, so that that for what it's worth.

Re: OT ?? shooting at someone running away
Please also consider that police officers (at least here in Texas) operate under a different part of the Use of Force laws than we do. Non-LEO's are operating under Chp 9, subchapters C and D whereas a LEO is under subchapter E. Comparing LEO shootings to Non-LEO shootings is something of an apples/...

Re: 46.035 sign at college stadium?
Seems to me that sign has no statutory authority. 30.06/30.07 are the only signs (currently) that do.

Re: This might start at debate
Then it's time to get into Black Powder - lots of bang and smoke  Every time I shoot mine I wonder to myself "How in the world did they fight wars with these???" I can't see a dang thing after the first shot or two. They are a lot of fun though and will certainly start up a conversa...

Re: Finger printing and cost question
Does not matter how many times you have been fingerprinted, you will have to do it again. I have been fingerprinted 5 times now, LEO, TX Insurance Adjuster license, LTC, LTC instructor and Florida Insurance Adjuster license. I became an LTC instructor 4 months after getting my LTC and I had to get f...

Re: Which Glock to Buy?!
2. for the fixed sights, is it easy to shoot at the point of aim or will you have to "compensate" by aiming a bit high or low, etc? If it shoots to the point of aim at, say, 20 ft or less, then at what range do you have to start compensating? 50 yards? 100 yards? Thanks, :tiphat: If you a...
