I first started carrying without one chambered. After watching several videos of how fast a BG can have a gun pointed at you and your only movement is drawing and firing, I decided to carry with one chambered. Class on 9/3 application completed 9/7 fingerprints and paperwork turned into RSD office 9/12. Not showing any update that it was received or in process as of now. My status came up yesterday when I checked. Finger printed and all documents turned into RSD office drop box on 9/12.
Now everything green except background and print pending. I don't know how long it takes the background to come back but mine is clean.

I should have scanned and emailed mine. I wonder how often they check the drop box at RSD in Austin. Dropped mine off 7 days ago and still no email they have received it.Oh well. Patience is virtue.
