Excellent to hear about the reliability with that many rounds through. I've got a medium sized grip shell, but a small would probably fit me better. They're out of stock almost everywhere, so I've set up a few alerts for me to be notified when they're back in stock. Thank you for the tips!Scott65 wrote:Been carrying one daily for about 9 months now. ~1000 rounds. Excellent all around platform to me. Carry well, very accurate and reliable. And the interchangeable components I believe make it possible to fit most any hand, and also anyone can find a comfortable place to carry it. No issues with not having a manual safety. As with any striker fired, be extremely careful holstering, especially with an untucked shirt... Congratulations on a fine purchase. Hope you enjoy it as much as I have.
As a California native, I am very happy to now be in Texas. The biggest things I miss are my family & the beaches (sorry, Texas, most of your beaches aren't very good).treadlightly wrote:I like my P320's, full and subcompact, even though the lack of external safety has my attention when I holster. Always, actually, but particularly when I holster.
On the other hand, I think that makes the gun illegal in California. The 12 round magazine probably does too, I suppose.
And if a gun is banned in California, it can't be all bad.
I often carry my P320. I like the capacity and I can hit with it. Be sure to clear your holster prior to bolstering, and adopt procedures to deny inappropriate pressure on the trigger.
Handled correctly, just like a Glock, they are very safe. Just never be complacent, and, of course, that's always a good goal.
Two of my firearms are illegal in California, which will definitely prevent me from moving back there or traveling there for any extended length of time. I'd rather be free and know I have the ability to protect my family than to be subjected to the absurd politics of most of California's big cities. Thank you for the tips as well!
