Got some intel on the local scene in Nacogdoches and was able to monitor local PD and Ambulance, local TV and radio stations. The local airport weather and WX weather radio both went down during the storm.
After this evacuation, I think I may get more active again and get a good vehicle rig. We evacuated in 2 vehicles and had famly band radios for communication but I would have liked to have a CB also.
