My understanding is this was found upon play back of video. I'm guessing they didn't have motion detection alerts turned on. One person posted LEO woke them to tell them their truck doors were open. What I am wondering is at this point do you have a right to use deadly force or do you have to wait for him to point the gun at you and fire?
If this was my house I would have the same view point as the camera out a bedroom window, maybe a little higher.
I would feel bad if these guys got away and ended up killing someone down the road.

This was not my situation, it was posted on Nextdoor a neighborhood network app.
These kids were breaking into vehicles in a nearby neighborhood. Our main concern is the little Snot with the gun is willing to kill someone for what little they may get out of someone's vehicle. What happens if someone doesn't even know they are there and walks out to let the dog out or go to work early? I worry for a innocents life.
