Thank you. That was the answer I was expecting, but not hoping for.

Cannot Carry at workplace. Can they ban carrying at client offices?

Sorry if the title is confusing. I have my LTC (plastic came in yesterday). The employee handbook prohibits me from carrying my firearm while I am conducting business for this company. I often have to travel to clients. Assuming the client office is not posted, can my employer prohibit me from carrying at a client office?

Actual text from Employee handbook below. Is this legal?
WEAPONS
Employees may not, at any time while using or operating any property owned, leased or controlled by the Company, or while in a building or location anywhere that company business is conducted, such as company locations, customer locations, client locations, trade shows, restaurants, company event venues, and so forth, possess or use any weapon (this excludes firearms in locked private vehicles in employer parking garages, parking lots or other employer provided parking areas based on Texas Law.) Weapons include, but are not limited to,
REV. 1/5/15 51
guns, firearms, knives or swords with blades over four inches in length, explosives, and any chemical whose purpose is to cause harm to another person. Regardless of whether an employee possesses a concealed weapons permit or is allowed by law to possess a firearm, all weapons are prohibited on any company property or in any location in which the employee represents the company for business purposes (exclusions listed above).
