The police and their political masters are at fault even if the weapons were airsoft replicas. To tell a person that they are "inciting conflict" by their lawful presence and ignore people carrying real or fake semiautomatic weapons is being complicit. If the police and politicians are unable to see the potential for tragic results by allowing fake weapons to be brandished they are either extremely stupid or invested heavily in the progressive socialist agenda and are provoking the pulling of triggers on real weapons.
The progressive socialists don't care about the people who are going to die on both sides once the line has been crossed. All they see is the potential for enacting gun bans in the wake of a shooting event.

Portland based video journalist and Quillette writer Andy Ngo (who happens to be gay and Asian) made the trip north to Seattle to cover a pro Constitution rally put on by III%’ers and other conservative groups, as well as the counter protest staged by the usual red flag toting communists of Antifa.

As Ngo attempted to make his way into the communist group to capture the scene, several people confronted him and prevented him from going in, including at least three people armed with AR15’s and an AK47.
