I could answer your questions but no one wants to hear a sermon about the widening influence of Satan upon the earth.Soccerdad1995 wrote:Every day I go to work and I meet with a number of colleagues. I have 20 people on my extended team who I talk to every week at our staff meeting. And yet I somehow manage to do my job without making political statements of any type. Why can't our grocery stores just sell groceries instead of advocating for the restriction of civil rights? Why can't actors just do their job of pretending to be other people instead of also being community activists? Why can't athletes just run fast, throw accurately, jump and catch a ball like they are being paid so darn well to do? Why is it so hard for these people to just do their jobs?Abraham wrote:"Then two major businesses—Bob Perry home-builders and H-E-B groceries—stepped forward to kill the sanctuary cities legislation."
I don't understand...kill what legislation?
For or against sanctuary cities?
Plus, why are businesses getting involved anyway?
I'm sure they realize getting political is going to affect their market share with those grocery shoppers who have different political views....
Thanks!

How about AR chips? They come in a black bag labeled "Assault Chips." The party size is called "Large Capacity."ScottDLS wrote:No they don't sell AR clips....BBYC wrote:https://www.texaschlforum.com/viewtopic ... 83&t=91671twomillenium wrote:I was not aware that Kroger sold AR magazines, what other AR accessories did they sell?

Re: Kroger Stop Magazines With Assault Rifles
Never. My assault...er, gun magazines are delivered by the postal service for less than a quarter of the retail cost in stores. Just renewed my subscription to Guns and Ammo - 2 years for $15.00, about .63 per issue. Before I had a subscription I bought one issue at retail of $4.99.CleverNickname wrote:Just wondering, how many of you bought such magazines at Kroger before this policy was in place?

Re: Kroger Stop Magazines With Assault Rifles
A long time ago when I was in the retail business, magazine racks were managed by 3rd party magazine distributors. If this is still the case it's possible that the distributor has not been to all of the locations to refresh the racks and remove the horrible assault magazines.twomillenium wrote:I went to a Kroger this morning to pick up prescription and check the Magazine stand and saw that they still had all the gun magazines still displayed. Not sure who wrote the article but it does not apply to the Kroger close to me. I know they do not sell pornography but the gun, car, sports and even the gossip magazines were there. People, learn to respond and not react.
I wonder how they'll handle it when for the magazine that only puts an AR-15 on its cover once or twice a year. Progressive socialist morons.

Will be interesting to see if they follow up by posting .06 and .07 signs at stores in Texas.Soccerdad1995 wrote:mojo84 wrote:It wasn't long ago Kroger was receiving a lot of love on here for allowing open carry and having the best summer sausage.
It's amazing how fast they turned anti. Or at least exposed their true biases.

I like the WinCo in Arlington. We don't shop there enough, will have to start stopping there instead of passing by on the way to Walmart.LucasMcCain wrote:We don't have an HEB near me, but we recently had a WinCo open up around the corner. Might have to give them a bit more business. I've been impressed with them so far.

Re: Kroger Stop Magazines With Assault Rifles
Yet, the hypocrites at Kroger’s will continue to sell alcohol and tobacco products that are responsible for far more deaths and injuries every year than “assault weapons.” They will continue to have an aisle dedicated to selling candy so as to promote obesity, a major health issue. Progressive socialists bent on achieving their agenda “see no hypocrisy, hear no hypocrisy, speak no hypocrisy.”
