We have older pets right now - a chihuahua that identifies as a rottweiler and a cat that was just diagnosed with diabetes. Every time we see a GS she's "oh it is so pretty." I'd offer to help, but based upon my wife's love for german shepherds it may be that you don't have enough guns and ammo to get Laika back!
