Re: Avenger Arms in Stafford
He posted within the comments of the post explaining why the 30.06 and 30.07 signs are there, rather than a new post. So unless you dig into the comments you won't see the change. He also sounds kinda snarky about the change instead of any acknowledgement of his misguided efforts to prevent LTC holders from entering his store carrying.jmorris wrote:He posted on Facebook a couple of hours ago that the signs* have been taken down so now everyone that complained can come to the store tomorrow.
Come to think about it, he may have said "sign" so maybe only the 06 is gone.
(If it wasn't over three hours away I would stop by.)

Re: Avenger Arms in Stafford
Never before have I encountered such an obstinate gun store owner. Takes all kinds I guess- both business owner and those who fail to see the hypocrisy of the store's policy.

Closed on Mondaysmiljet wrote:According to ArmsRack ( http://firearm-dealers.armsrack.com/l/1 ... r-Arms-LLC ), the firearms license for this company expired on December 1, 2016.
I also caught something on their Facebook page that indicated that this business is closed.

Re: Avenger Arms in Stafford
I get it, really. The 20 plus years of CHL/LTC history clearly indicates that CHL/LTC license holders are the worst possible people you can do business with...thieves, murderers, rapists, shooters, stabbers, generally just bad people you can't trust to come in the front door legally armed.TVGuy wrote:They posted this on their Facebook page 40 minutes ago:
Not the brightest people in the world. We have been questioned multiple times about our status of having both 30.06 and 30.07 signs posted outside of our store. That is correct. This is meant for the protection of our staff and surrounding businesses. If you have an LTC, it is required that you show the identification to the camera outside of the entrance and then you will be allowed into the store with your firearm. We apologize if this aggravates potential and current customers, but again, it is for the safety of our staff.

Re: Avenger Arms in Stafford
When I googled Avenger Arms Stafford Tx this thread is the third in the list, ahead of their website. Your results may vary!Abraham wrote:Perhaps, the owners of AA will become aware of this thread, read it and understand if our little microcosm of the gun world are very put off (to put it mildly) by their signage, maybe they'll realize we're only the very tip of the "I won't buy a gun or anything else from them" iceberg...
Supposedly, any publicity is good, but if it's all bad, how good is it...?

Re: Avenger Arms in Stafford
Their website has an OCT logo on the front page. Guess they support open carry, except in their store.
