I bought 10 Troy mags on sale from Primary Arms. They would be my 3rd choice of what to use from the supply of mags I have. I mainly bought them for future "barter" use if needed in times where new 30 round mags may be hard to come by.JRG wrote:Are the Troy Battle mags any good? How many loaded? Only you can determine how many loaded magazines you might need in self defense scenarios both at home and in public.
How many total? As many as you can afford. Look for deals on buying 10 at a time. The Magpul PMags seem to have the best quality and fit in polymer mags for AR. I've started stocking up on aluminum D&H mags.
