Wife and I had planned to vote last Thursday morning, however due to the events with my daughter she had to go alone. I will be getting back into DFW late Monday night. I plan to vote Tuesday morning and then hit the local firearm establishments in search for a full size 9mm pistol and possibly a 12ga tactical shotgun. My final ammo and magazine purchases arrived while I was out of town.
All other final preps will be food, medicines, water, etc.
I don't if anyone else has thought about it, but I kinda expect that later in the week once the dust settles on Hillary's victory that Obama will issue some executive orders limiting firearm and ammo purchases.

Re: What Last Preparations Have You made For the Inevitable?
The Annoyed Man wrote: One has to be a wealthy man to prepare for a real war, and I'm not that wealthy. Consequently, there is at least as much value in accumulating relationships with sober-minded, intelligent, and gracious people who have the same assessment of the future, as there is in stockpiling materiel. Strategy requires colaborers, otherwise all you have is tactics. Tactics may win a fight, but it won't win a war. So I have consciously and deliberately sought to build a network of relationships with lime-minded people, which to me, is as important as the material preps.
And all of this includes spiritual preparation and maintenance. There will be a role to be played for a good chaplain in all of this.

I'm late to the field of preparing in arms and ammo, and especially lacking in the area of building network and friendships with like minded people here in Texas.
My greatest defense is knowing our destination should opposition parties overcome my ability to defend the lives of my wife and myself.
