I am attending the CHL class this saturday (06/04/16). I have been waiting for some kind of recognition on the texas chl webiste where I did my application but nothing seems to happen. So I called and they said everything seemed good and they were only waiting on my chl class. Has this happened to anyone else before?

just wanted to make sure everything went smoothly with my background check since it was $140 and incase by some weird circumstance a contributing to a minor that I was never convicted of got in the way. Which it hasn't since I called and they stated everything was good to go. However, I just want to clear this up and see if a status update or anything shows up on the chl website once you submit your class, because nothing has changed on it for me as of right now and it has been since 04/28/16.

Anyone that has any knowledge about this, I would love to hear what you have to say.

Anyone have thoughts on what I should do or what is going on? I tried calling but it just says they have too many applications and automatically hangs up and I tried emailing and they just send back a generic pre-written email. I noticed some people on have submitted their stuff in April and already have their LTC in hand. So shouldnt mine have been completed too?

I would probably make the call. There could be an issue where the RSD is awaiting you supplemental docs...did you receive an email stating the docs were received? Either way, no harm in making the call. Especially with all the posts of members receiving their cards in under six weeks. Good look!

Yep, the supplemental doc date is actually the date I received confirmation. I'll try to call them on Tuesday after the holiday.
