Me and my wife personally fought for KLOL 101.1 here in Houston, we got over 50k signatures...fortunately and unfortunately another HUGE conglomerate got the original cast together and made KIOL, only to turn it into a JACK station!
Alas the end result we lost..but we fought the good fight and made a TON of friends along the way
online petitions make huge waves if enough people fight for it...heck even if one person fights hard enough they can make a difference!
Don't ever underestimate the power or strength of people fighting for what they believe in.
I would whole heartedly support it if it was an addition to instead of a replacement for CHL...I fear if it was OK'd, it would be just another tool that the anti's could twist into taking away a right for the replacement of another.
I signed..but I sure hope that its another unlocking of a legislated down freedom instead of a replacement for another
