Well I have a friend who had her home busted into recently. So she wants to get a pistol or shotgun for home defense should it happen while she is there. My question is I believe that her son might have a "white-collar" felony. Can she legally have a gun of any sort in her home if he is going to be staying there for a period of 6 months? Also I was reading I think about possession was illegal but what is that definition really mean in real world language? Thank you for any and all help you might be able to provide.
