Thanks for the post on your experience with the ammo. I think I'll be picking some up now for practice.
The 125 grain .357 magnum wasn't called the "magic bullet" by many LEOs for nothing. The ballistics and performance of that round makes it great for SD. Water jugs don't stand a chance!
Like WildBill stated, get some good quality ammo for carry. Federal, Winchester and Remmington all make very good 125 grain HP ammo in .357 magnum.
