Congrats! Enjoy your wally walk! Be safe out there.Boomstick1 wrote: Hang in there everyone. I'm outta here. It has helped tremendously chatting in here with like minded people waiting on my plastic to arrive. It definitely made the wait more bearable. it took me 86 days from class to plastic. see ya.

Re: "Waiting Room"
Just hang in there. Average wait time seems to be about 90 days after everything is submitted. I'd try calling again around the 60 day mark to make sure everything has been processed. If you get that automated message, just keep trying to call back every couple minutes. Eventually you'll be put on hold for a rep.Geistex04 wrote:Class 4/4

Website shows nothing, and when I called got voice recording saying all available persons were busy in processing and could not answer the phone, due to number of applications being submitted.

Re: "Waiting Room"
Hang in there. I talked to a lady the other day and she said my application had started being "processed" on April 7th and it could take up to 30 days to approve. For reference, my website status changed today. My RSD Confirmation was received on Feb 10th so hopefully you'll get some positive news in the next week.JoCannonIV wrote:JoCannonIV wrote:I thought I would share my time line now that it seems there has been some positive activity for some others around the same time frame.

Will update as soon as something changes.
Well this sucks, everybody seems to be getting their plastic or at least a status change. I called at the end of last week and was told that my application had entered background on the April 22 and from what I have seen the background can take 4-6 weeks, I received an email on 5/2/2016 stating that the application was being processed and that it could take up to eight (8) business weeks to complete. Well it had been 11 business weeks when I received the email stating it could take 8 business weeks.
I am not calling again or emailing anymore, it seems that they are catching up but working backwards.

Re: "Waiting Room"
Just keep trying to call back until you are put on hold. That happened to me too. Then a buddy just told me to keep trying every few minutes. I was on hold for about 10 minutes even though they said expected wait time would be 20 minutes.Jsutter71 wrote:Do those people take lunch. I just called to check my status and after receiving the message about long wait times, the same message finished with please try your call again later. Then hung up on me. It was the 512-424-7293 number.

Re: "Waiting Room"
All in on Feb 10th.
Still no website status change. But it looks like people who were all-in late January/early February are starting to receive theirs. I'll continue to check my mailbox feverishly each day when I get home from work!
Congrats to everyone getting their plastic!

Re: "Waiting Room"
I only had to hold for about 10 minutes. Talked to a nice lady named Sherry. She said my application status had changed to "in process" on April 7th.
I had all my documents submitted by Feb 10th. She said that once the status changes to "in process" it generally takes about 30 days until they approve and send to print/mail.
Hopefully this time next month I'll have some good news!

Re: "Waiting Room"
Thanks for the tip! I got the "call back" option but said my approximate wait time is 20 min. Currently holding. Fingers crossed!SplittinHairs wrote:So... good news. Seems my wait is also almost over! I managed to contact RSD this morning via phone. I got a real nice lady on the phone who informed me my application was approved and that I should receive it in 7-14 business days. So, basically, I am off to print and awaiting the status change that will indicate it is being mailed! I wanna be excited, but... I'll believe it when I see it. It's early. Maybe I just dreamed the phone call... the status change will make it a lot more real to me.
For those of you who have been waiting 90 of so days... give them a call. If you don't know how, here is the "magic steps" to make it happen. Call RSD. As soon as the recording starts, press 1. If she talks about wait times, press 1 again. You should be hanged up. If not, hang up. Call back, try this again. After 5-10 attempts simultaneously you will hear a different recording (possibly a male or female voice, I have gotten both before) that will put you on a hold list. Apparently, there is sometimes an option to receive a call back, but I have not gotten this yet. But, yeah, keep hammering their phone and you will get in after a few minutes of effort.

I'm new to the forum. What do people mean when they say "website change". When I login to view my application status, I get the whole "please allow sufficient time" jargon. Will that change when my application is processed? Will I receive an email when application is processed and license is in the mail? Thanks in advance for the help.
