1st Status Check February 20th - "Still Processing Please Give us More Time," Per Customer Service
2nd Status Check March 3, 2016 "Still Processing Please Give us More Time," Per CUstomer Service
3rd Status Check March 16, 2016 "Stille Processing Please Give Us More Timne," Per Customer Service
4th Status Check March 23, 2016: I asked if they had all the documents they needed. Customer Service Said, "Yes."
5th Status Check April 4, 2016: "Please be patient as we have had an influx of applications." I requested to speak to a manger. We'll have a manager call you. NO CALL since April 15, 2016.
6th Status Check April 15, 2016: Ebony (Customer Service),"It is still in Process." I said, "It's been in "BACKGROUND CHECK" since February. I want to speak to a manager." Manager comes to the phone after 20 minutes of waiting. Manager: "Mr. B., Your background check has cleared." You should receive your card within 4-5 days.
7th Status Check April 18, 2016: I called to check status. Told application is now in FEDERAL BACKGROUND CHECK. STATE WAS CLEARED. I asked to speak to a manager. Angela, Manager, Said, "I don't know who told you that you background was cleared, but they were wrong". I want to speak to a director someone over you. "I am the Team Lead," She said. Let's get Ebony the prior operator on the phone. She said, I cannot do that. I said, I thought you wanted to fix this and correct any training errors. She hung up on me.
8th Status Check April 22, 2016: I was told that my application has been given to a manager for expediting. TRANSLATION: They DROPPED THE BALL.
THE STATE SHOULD HAVE CONTRACTED OUT THIS PROCESS. DPS CANNOT HANDLE IT.....
