I've received no help yet after contacting Sen. Kirk Watson's office via email.Murica wrote:I got a quick response contacting Perry.SplittinHairs wrote:Exactly which state rep are you all contacting? Mine sent an "inquiry" and hasn't gotten a response. That's not good enough.

Edit: Maybe spoke too soon. I contacted the Governors office and Watson's office by email last week. I just checked the website and my status has changed …

Re: "Waiting Room"
It must be a canned reply. I got the same one and haven't heard from anyone either.waynehisler wrote:All in date, 1-28. Still nothing.
Last Thursday, I got a message from the Governor's office that they had reached out to "Colonel Steven McCraw, Director of the Texas Department of Public Safety, for his staff's assistance in reviewing and responding to you and this office on the information shared."
I still haven't heard anything from Mr. McCraw or anyone else. The one time last week that--after holding for almost an hour--I spoke to someone at DPS, they told me that they had all of the documentation that they need.
All in 2/4. Still waiting.

Re: "Waiting Room"
I agree, that's odd. This whole process is 'odd'. There is definitely something nondeterministic about it.

Re: "Waiting Room"
All in Feb. 4. Still waiting. Been on hold with RSD for the last 45 minutes listening to some awful music and a recording of a young woman reminding me that I can email them with questions LOL. Been there and done that … never a reply.
Government in action … got to love it.
Update: after holding for 1 hour I was disconnected. I called back and got a recording stating that 'due to unusually high call volumes we can't answer your call'.
Anybody have the Guvnor's office email address ?
