I completely agree! Especially considering when they said my CHL-100 was too dark...I resent them the EXACT same PDF that I sent in January. So I guess it took me getting on their backs for them to process it?LTCTLB wrote:I'm glad your wait is over. 127 days is too much though.

Re: "Waiting Room"
Fingerprints: 1/27
All in document date: 1/28
Confirmation email from DPS: 1/28
Website change: TBD
Plastic in hand: 6/3
That is 127 calendar days for anyone counting.
In Mid April I started emailing and calling DPS, they at that time claimed my CHL-100 pdf was "too dark to read" and asked me to submit a new one. Which I did, on April 26th...so it has been 38 calendar days since that last document upload.
But, ladies and gents...that means my seat is now open!

Re: "Waiting Room"
There may be a light at the end of the tunnel for me!
CHL class: 1/22
Fingerprints: 1/27
Submitted application & documents: 1/28
"All in" email received: 1/28
436 emails to find out what the heck is wrong with application
Resubmit CHL-100 (how is a pdf 'too dark to read'?) 4/26
2nd "all in" email: 4/26
Status change: TBD
In hand: TBD
I called this morning to double check and make sure everything is on track and they're able to read my CHL-100 this time. Spoke with a very nice lady who said she was very sorry for the issues with my application, they can read the CHL-100 and it looks like my LTC will be printed by the end of this week. Gave me her extension number and said if I don't get it in the next week or so to call her back. Today marks the 118 calendar day of hell.

Re: "Waiting Room"
Update: After having all of my documents in on January 28th I still hadn't received my LTC. I emailed and called about a half a dozen times. I got a reply on Friday that said my CHL100 was "too dark to read" and asked that I resubmit it. Mind you...they never mailed anything to me stating there was an issue, which I thought was standard practice. I resent the CHL100 and now am told I am looking at 6 weeks from this past Friday. A few friends who had submitted their documents around the same time I did are having the exact same issue, and they weren't notified via snail mail either.

I'm getting frustrated with the whole process actually, I've emailed asking what the wait time SHOULD be and haven't gotten a response yet. A friend of my husband submitted his application 2 weeks after I did and he received his license last week.
