i renewed online after 9-1-13 the dps website has not been redone to go alonge w/the new laws its a confusing mess.i cant believe it wasent ready for a new interface after sept.1 sheeeees

you should not need to send any documents or checklist if renewing on or after 9-1-13,i wish dps would stay up to date w/the chl laws

yes,i saw that list before. i guess Houston isn't too far away, but i swore i would never go back there when i left in 1980.. :shock: You don't have to. does anyone know of a class or instructor near Austin that gives the class for a Utah CFP permit? i would like to get the Utah permit along w/my CHL so i will have more states to carry in...thanks

i was at the academy at wm. cannon and i-35 and i live in south Austin.my shooting range is in Leander though.

It seems the class can be distracting with a lot of knuckleheads asking crazy hypothetical situations and confusing people about what the law really is. :) :) What about the guy who thinks it's a hunting license for thieves. :x There is alway one in the group. i have a question. about 3 weeks ago the DPS sent me a letter saying i needed to send them some documents about the deposition on an old arrest i had back in 1992. they also wanted the police report. i went downtown and got all this info and had it certified. i mail the documents to them on Fri marc...
