When I compare the situation we are in at this moment to other uprisings, I tend to agree that we are close to the edge. There is a lot of anger and distrust toward the government right now from all sides. The turning point tends to be when anger overcomes people's fear of their government. Right now, we have agents of the government (police) being actively targeted and killed. That seems to pretty much meet the definition. I think all we need is a bit of a spark. A Trump victory could be that spark.

I hope I am worried about nothing. But I did ask my wife to work from home on Wednesday just in case Trump wins. She works in a bad part of Houston and she is required to be unarmed at work.
We all hope that we are worried for nothing. I am typically optimistic and naively under the impression that people are good and always have good intentions. This year has brought out the worst in "us." I fear for my loved ones safety just as much as you.

I pray for the safety of our fellow man, regardless of who they voted for. We should all be able to go home safely to our families, but until then... Carry often.

I don't have the funds to stock up on ammo and firearms. As many have said all we can do is put our faith in God and follow the path he wants us to take.
