wanted to take a moment to share a terrible story.
After the incident in CA (San Bernardino), my father-in-law and i decided now was the time to get our license. we were finally able to get into a class and completed it Tuesday, Dec 29th 2015. At the end of the day, i scanned our files along with the receipts and uploaded them to the website. (that was 78 days ago)
for the past few weeks, i have been checking online to see if there was any status change, but no. i emailed them week before last and still no reply. it was not until today that i finally broke down and called.
"you should be getting a letter in the mail anytime now, you forgot to date your signature form and will need to resubmit.
you can expect the process to be another 8-12 weeks."i'm only an hour drive from austin, think i can turn this in and just wait in the lobby for them to complete the paperwork? christ, it will be june before i am able to get my chl. that's 6 months!
