Sure you can, but you specifically added "is a felony" in your initial post.

It is not a felony unless the establishment sells alcoholic beverages. Everywhere else it is a Class A misdemeanor.

My understanding is that the sign is a notification that what is normally a misdemeanor is a felony if it happens in that business because that is what state law indicates. The business itself can't just decide that they want it to be a felony.

I don't believe that a business can just decide to put up a "unlicensed possession of a firearm is a felony" sign because they want to. Isn't it actually a misdemeanor unless the business sells alcohol?
