What do mean when you say your status has changed? I got on the website this morning and it's kinda different than what it was when I last checked. Nothing on it says I was approved or anything though.

I have not seen the changed website myself but what I understand happens is that the website offers you the ability to change your address, etc. So I imagine that congratulations are in order for you!

For a grand total of 93 calendar days and 61 business days since my confirmation email. If I hadn't called my state rep and Gov Abbott, who knows how long it would have taken? I think that shaved off 2-3 weeks.

All in all, they aren't trying to upset you or anyone personally.

All great points, but the underlying factor is that they are EXTREMELY uncommunicative and that is the primary source of frustration. They don't answer the phone, they don't respond to emails, and their website is a joke.

I think a real website where we could see our status in the process would reduce frustration levels by 90%.

One would hope that everything is done electronically. In which case a database you can reference with your DL number could the status of your application.
