This is very close to my voting philosophy. Though I word it a little different. Whether it is the primary, a runoff, general, or special election; I vote for the candidate that I believe will be the most effective advocate for issues of concern to me. To me, there is a balancing act of whether a candidate agrees with me on issues, and how effective they will be. There may be a candidate that better aligns with my beliefs.
