Just had to give you a hard time.
That H&K looks to have a feature common to German pistols, which I've never understood: the "up to fire" safety.
On my guns with safeties, I'll never, ever carry one with a safety that doesn't work like God and John Moses Browning intended: safety off with a natural downward sweep of the thumb.
I'll own the other kind, but only for fun and plinking. Anything I carry for protection has to work the instinctive way.
