You can do it that way too, but you ruin your trap for several weeks after that.

Not only that....but you set yourself up for a lot 'O hog skinning. I'm good for 3-4...but field dressing and skinning 15-20 at time is a bit much (even with help).
There comes a point (and I think you're already there, based on these pics!), that you have to treat them like rats: to heck with the meat, just shoot and dump. If you like to hunt coyotes too, consider it a bonus.

Getting them out is the fun part.
I thought the approved method for getting them out of the trap, was after each of them had a .22 between the eyes and was no longer arguing about it.
