Sorry, just had to bust your chops a little. It's not your fault, it's Six Flags management's decision to focus on the wrong things.

I've done that on several occasions too, with absolutely no worries.

As you say, it's legal. I don't worry about "taking the ride" or "having a lot of explaining to do" when I'm not breaking any laws.
