The No. 5 is commonly called the Jungle Carbine and is very popular. The ShtLE Mk. V was a trials rifle made 1922-24, sort of an intermediary between the No.1 SMLE, and the No.4 of WWII. Only about 20,000 were made, and it was never put into service; the number surviving is unknown.
I haven't added a No.5 to my Lee Enfield collection yet, but I do have a Mk.V that I'm proud of.
