Six years of what? A BSPharm and 1500hrs of internship would be a bit under 5 years, assuming no special effort to speed things along via unholy courseload, etc. In some states, even a PharmD can be had in around 5 years.
There is no BSPharm any longer. The PharmD is the first awarded degree. If someone graduates from high school early at 16 and goes straight into a 60-100 hour pre-pharm program (skipping the Bachelor degree), then pharm school, it's possible to be an accredited pharmacist by age 22.

(edit: the cuss filter doesn't care for the common abbreviation for a Bachelor of Science degree, and "skipping the bull" just didn't make much sense... :grin: )

This may have been covered elsewhere, but just FYI... there are only two students named Ryan at the Texas Tech School of Pharmacy. One is class of 2009, the other class of 2011.
