Hmm I hadn't heard that!
A couple of years ago they inadvertently removed the penalty for no front plate, so for 2 years or so you were GTG, but it has since been fixed.
Lol during this time period I was stopped for no front plate, got a warning on that .... But it was at that time I learned that a forgotten ticket from Indiana CAN come back and bite you to the tune of a suspended license...
