What I REALLY want is a small, lightweight, skinny 9mm, kinda like the G36 only regular sized and in 9mm.

I'm no expert, but i'd say just be familiar with what you're carrying and you should be okay, FTMP.
I've competed with 3 different guns, in 3 different calibers, and I performed as equally unimpressive with all 3 !![lol :lol::](./images/smilies/lol.gif)
