Plastic in hand 4/1/16, 85 days from all in date of 1/7/16.

This has been an ordeal to say the least, Good to hear you're almost there as well.

Hopefully we will both get plastic by Saturday, I have read most of the time it comes within a couple of days of website change if you are near Austin.

I called today and got through after the 10th time and waited 40 minutes, a fella answered, I stated that I was in my 12th week and was wondering where I was at in the process, I heard him chuckle when I stated the 12 weeks, but anyway he ask for my license number and stated that I was one of the lucky ones that my LTC had been approved and I would get it in the mail in the next 7 to 10 days.

I am reluctant to get excited but hey we will see. There has been no status change on the website, so the pessimist in me says if it doesn't get here in that time frame I won't be disappointed.

I have noticed on this forum that when they say you should get it in 7 to 10 days it is usually sooner so here's hoping that it true.

I am in SA also, its 81 days today all in date was 1/7/16, got a call last Wednesday saying they were going to look at my app on Friday, but not sure they were open, since it was Good Friday, and not sure what that means if they are just starting to investigate , it could be another 30 days by what the statutes say.

Very frustrated and contacting State Rep, Governors Office or Public Utility Commission is a waste of time, at least in my experience it has been.

Hopefully I will hear something soon but congrats to all that have received plastic it gives me hope mine will come someday!

All in date 1/7/16 email confirmation.

Called State Rep, Governors Office and Public Safety Commission got a call back each time from RSD always saying 12 to 14 weeks.

Last call from Public Safety Commission the fella said they hadn't even looked at it but would Friday which is today, no other explanation.

Day 78 still waiting!

Timeline

1/2/16 LTC class, application started, confirmation email
1/7/16 fingerprinted, submitted all documents, confirmation email

Confused if the my starting date is the 2nd or 7th, if 2nd will be 68 days today, if 7th 63 days today.

It seems as though it would be the 2nd by what I read on this board!

No website change, tried calling today and got message that all operators are busy and to call back...

Hopefully will hear something soon.
