Re: "Waiting Room"
I'm thinking your right. There is no pattern that I see. I would think that your time starts when they open your envelope with your CHL-100 in it. I would assume they have 100's of thousands of packets sitting somewhere and they are slowly chipping away at it. Possibly keeping them in chronological order as to what day they came in. I really don't see any other way of them doing it. I'm curious as to why they don't just automate the entire process. Do everything online and be done with it.AustinAG2005 wrote:...or that there is really no rhyme or reason at all to this....(more likely)

It seems that everyone's case is unique. Some get emails, some don't, some peoples website changes and some don't. It's tough to even know what to try and follow.
My timeline
12/14- online app
12/18- prints
12/27- CHL class
12/31- Docs arrive in Austin via certified mail w/ tracking number.
2/16- website changed sometime in the last few days. I don't check every day anymore.
My question is about the website change. Do we know for sure that there is a direct correlation between the website changing and the status of your LTC? It seems everyone's situation is different.
Congratulations by he way.
Thanks! It's been a long wait, but not too bad. Just checked the mail a little while ago and no plastic. Will keep everyone updated as to when it arrives.

Re: "Waiting Room"
Newbie here guys. I see on people's timeline that says "conformation email." Is this the email with the barcode at the top that you send in with your CHL 100? Another question, I see a lot of guys/ladies email their papers in to dps. Unfortunately, my CHL instructor didn't mention that option to us. Would you guys suggest emailing the documents to them as well? I sent my stuff certified mail and was delivered in Austin 12/30/15 and as of today theirs no change on the website. Great thread going on here! Thanks for the help!
