After 5 years of daily carry my XD definitely has some wear marks from the holster. But that is 5 years of daily in and out of the holster, along with 1000s of additional draws performed during training and practice. I think a velvet cloth would wear on the finish after that much work. :fire

I've toyed with a few other holsters, but never used anything else with any regularity, so I can't compare it to any other carry options. I think the wear marks are pretty light considering the amount of use.

Just another voice confirming what everyone else has said... they can take a long time to arrive and although they are great holsters, they aren't well-suited for appendix carry. The good news is that they are quality holsters that are comfortable and hold your firearm very securely.

I have ordered two... I think I waited 4 weeks for one, and 5 for the other.

I carry at 4:00 and have absolutely no complaints wearing my .45 all day long... but if I was going to appendix carry, I'd look for something else.
