But I believe this will get worse, before it gets better. This one case in Texas is just the tip of the iceberg. Left wing Governors, mayors, sheriffs, etc. have gotten a taste of autonomy, and will be loathe to cede that power.
The only bright side that I see, is that people across political spectrums see what true authoritarianism, is like, and are responding in kind with demonstrations, and defiance. I just hope that this carries over to the ballot box, and the people show these tyrants that it won’t be tolerated.
