I know this will go nowhere, but is it against federal or state law to know about a crime... for example: Feinstein... and fail to report it to authorities?
Which state? It’s against MD state law for Feinswine to not report a crime that someone told her about in California or DC?
What about withholding evidence on her part. She (and I use this term loosely) had the letter for what, 6 weeks before she brought it to light? Did you see her aid start scrambling when Failswine was asked about who leaked the letter? It was hilarious.
Read this article:

There’s a legal concept called laches, and it applies in spades. It dates back to the 1300s. “Equity aids the vigilant and not those who sleep on their rights,” the doctrine provides. Even a legitimate claim is barred when the person making the claim purposefully holds onto it until after the accused’s ability to defend himself is impaired.
.....
Curiously, the legal dictionary cites sexual harassment as the classic case where the doctrine of laches might apply. It’s as true today as it was in 1325 England. Somebody has to pay the price for an accuser withholding the allegations from the regular hearing process. Why should it be the man who did nothing but participate in good faith?
Senator Feinstein needs to pay that price, and
at a minimum, it should be her formal censure by the Senate, if not some kind of criminal proceeding. She
used Ford, and then threw her under the bus when asked to account for how the letter got leaked. I do not believe that Ford was assaulted by Kavanaugh. I
did believe that
somebody did something highly inappropriate to her when she was 15, but she is not a credible witness against Kavanaugh - not when all the other people SHE says witnessed the events say that it is untrue that this party ever took place, or that Kavanaugh was ever there.
Ford is guilty of perfidy to the extent that she - an adult capable of making adult decisions - allowed her story to be used in a political circus. In so doing, she killed any chance of ever finding and prosecuting her supposed attacker, if it in fact actually ever happened.... a thing about which I struggle to believe happened. I struggle to believe it EXACTLY because she allowed her story to be used that way, instead of pursuing justice in a court of law. What happened to Bill Cosby proves that the system works, even decades later, IF the plaintiff will put their faith in it. Ford’s decision not to put her faith in the criminal justice system, combined with her decision to allow herself to be used in a political witch hunt instead, makes me suspiscious of both her motive and her account.
True or not, Ford’s story will be a mere footnote in history. After all, how many people even
think about Anita Hill these days -
unless it is in the context of an accusation of sexual impropriety against a republican SCOTUS nominee - let alone
talk about her? But Diane Feinstein! She is another matter. When she was being grilled about the letter’s release, you could SEE the panic on her face. She suddenly realized that she was in a highly untenable position, with REAL consequences if the truth is ever revealed. Committee republicans owe it to America to do a
thorough after-action review, and
this time, bring in the FBI to investigate the details and uncover the leaker so that the leaker can experience the criminal justice system. AT THE VERY LEAST, she should be removed from the Judiciary Committee and given responsibility more to her qualifications .... like maybe designing traffic signs or something.
TAM, unfortunately, all of her signs, would point to the left. which would work for NASCAR tracks, but it would cause everyone else in the country, to drive off of cliffs. Of course that is exactly what she, and all of her cronies want. None care one whit, for Ford, or any other alleged "victims" .
I agree Ford, probably, the most credible of all of the accusers lining up, at the behest, of the obstructionists, may have had something happen to her, but, with everyone else claiming, that not only did the gathering not take place, with all of the persons she named, she can't provide enough information, to even, try to find out who did, what she claims was done to her. When she said she only had one beer, but then can't remember, any other detail, than naming Kavanaugh, it makes her story seem like it was contrived, from the start. JMHO
