Re: Where are all of the "printers"?
I agree actions/body language, are a definite tell for almost anything you are doing, but, and don't misinterpret, my ignorance, for curiosity, why were you, or why do you believe LEO, are so anti LTC? I have only had positive interactions with LEO, while carrying. I have never been to Atlanta, so ...

Re: This Texting While Driving is really starting to get to me!
I haven't read every post in here, but the "being young while driving while messing with phone" trope needs to be drug outside and shot. Over, and over, and over, and over, and OVER again in Katy, I see adults scrolling through Instagram/Facebook while driving *with* their kids in the car....

Re: Where are all of the "printers"?
Anyone that is sitting down that when moving to a standing position, tugs on one side of their shirt but not the other, is a giveaway. That's me constantly, but only after I've profiled everyone else in the theater two hours before, etc. I moved to OWB and cheap kydex holsters grab and bunch every p...

Prayers for F-I-L and Wife (it's about a dog sort of)
It may not be the forum, but it's about the people, not the dog (Elvis, as sweet as he is)... One of the two labs my wife bought and my 70 year old father in law has taken care of for over a decade is coming to the end of the road on Friday. My FIL is retiring about three hours before the vet comes ...

Re: Invited into a neighbor's home. Can I carry?
If you polled 100 female realtors or designers, etc., that are in people's homes, I'd estimate they carry into the homes of others at ten times the rate of HVAC repair folks, as an example. My wife can't invite them into our house more than once without getting into that discussion. I don't ask, and...

I'll add my favorite, best narrated by Jocko Willink: WE’RE foot—slog—slog—slog—sloggin’ over Africa! Foot—foot—foot—foot—sloggin’ over Africa— (Boots—boots—boots—boots—movin’ up and down again!) There’s no discharge in the war! Seven—six—eleven—five—nine-an’-twenty mile to-day— Four—eleven—seventee...

Re: Sign to Support Property Tax Reform - Lt. Gov. Patrick
Realtors are pushing tax rate reform, because their commissions are based upon valuations, so they won't say a peep about that. *And* people continue to vote for bond issues for all entities ensuring their tax rates essentially can't go down unless assessment values go up to compensate. Ultimately, ...

Re: London Bridge: Another terror attack
Oh, and in the Imperial War Museum, there was this exhibit (see pic.) "Edmund Clark: War of Terror" exhibit.
Don't be alarmed, there was no mention of actual terrorists, the entire exhibit was about rendition, the CIA, and how the UK government put people under surveillance.

Re: London Bridge: Another terror attack
So, I landed in London Friday and went sightseeing yesterday. I traveresed about nine miles in the central city, including London bridge and the market area where the rampage occurred (five or six hours before it happened. The hotel kindly called me at 11AM this morning to make sure I was ok, lol. 1...

In the same vein, how many would know Gene Simmons has never drank? It's a great skill to know how to develop and market a personality and not betray your core beliefs. Sad that a Metallica concert is a safer venue than being at an Ariana Grande or Taylor Swift type of concert. Nobody has bombed a D...

Re: Surgery, Iron & Leafy greens
If you're in a position to have to deal with answering questions about Coumadin, Xarelto, etc., you just need to wear compression socks anytime you're sitting for longer than a movie. (Coumadin and some other drugs are famous for their dietary restrictions as Rotor mentioned above, which you'll have...

Re: Password Manager
So I closed my browser (Firefox) That's a browser configuration issue (or another plugin like NoScript, etc.), not LastPass itself. Firefox in particular seems fond of blocking page elements, plugins, seemingly randomly. While I appreciate the security aspect of updates to Firefox occurring in the ...

Re: Password Manager
+1 Lastpass. I've been using it for years across all devices. For those worried about "cloud" storage, the most important thing is to understand where your data gets encrypted. *client side* encryption means your data is encrypted before it ever hits the wire, which is what you want. The w...

Calrionite, the VPN creates an encrypted tunnel from your box (PC, Iphone, iPad, etc.) to the VPN provider. All Comcast, AT&T, etc., will see is that there is port 443 (or randomized port #) traffic between you and VPNUnlimited.com (for instance). The ISP can't see that you're surfing reddit.com...
