Re: My Latest Addition; Sig Sauer P238
I love my p238..... It's my summer carry. Good little gun, and I shoot it well enough. Totally agree with the comments about the pinky mag. I have 3 extra. Carry all for a total of 22 rounds,

Re: Could an old car accident cause me to be denied?
IANAL, but if it was a felony (and most IM convictions are depending on the jurisdiction), then yes.... you would likely be automatic disqualified. Not sure that the deferred adjudication matters or not. You might want to seek the opinion of a legal professional. As an aside..... That seems like a v...

Re: Texas State Capitol, my first visit ever.
I live near and work in Austin... been to the capital several times (busy and slow times) armed. It gives me a great feeling strolling through the capital enjoying my constitutional rights. Kinda feels like Freedom. ![Texas Flag :txflag:](./images/smilies/texasflag.gif)

Re: When your SO has a different view...
The only disagreement we had was earlier this year when more 30.06 and 30.07 signs went up, and I refused to enter a business that had posted both signs. I told her that I was not going to disarm, just to patronize a business that had competition that was more 2A friendly. She felt that I was being...

Re: No Wally Walk
You obviously wisely took advantage of the "waiting room" period to carry a bit around the homestead. Sorta makes "the walk" pretty anti-climatic. I did the same and it was a breeze transition. It won't be long before you feel odd not carrying. ![thumbs2 :thumbs2:](./images/smilies/thumbsup2.gif)

Re: Gun Free Zones Damages
Wasn't there some similar initiatives here in TX, or possibly another state. I seem to remember reading that there was some talk about lawful CHL/CCW possessors being allowed to sue if injured/killed in a voluntary Gun Free zone? I think it was pooh poo'd because your presence there is "optiona...

http://i.imgur.com/T4rt9jLl.jpg Yeah..... Feel free to enter that supremely "soft target" theater. Me, I'll be at my home watching my big screen (sometimes with my 21 y/o daughter, who absolutely understands that her daddy doesn't do "gun free" zones if he can help it). I have t...
