OK, I guess the guy I talked to updated it:


As of now it shows:

"Application Completed - license issued or certificate active"

OK that was BLAZING FAST.


I called DPS right now asking if everything was OK with my APP. The guy said they sent my License out on MONDAY.


This is my TIMELINE:

Packet Mailed: 7-27-2007
DPS Received: 7-30-2007
Processing Application 8-16-2007

Keep in mind it still says Processing Application so to those of you have had Processing App for a long time you may want to call.

Alright, my status has changed to Processing Application

I took it at the Hole In the Wall in McAllen

Took my Class the last 2 days. Only missed 5 questions, aced the shooting, got my Photos taken, fingerprints done today, everything checks out. It is going in the mail in 1hr.


Couple of things I have a concern with:

I've seen on here where some of you say the Applicant has to sign Photos. I don't think I saw that mentioned ANYWHERE on my documentation but I went ahead and signed them anyway.

Second thing:

According to the place holder, it says only have the fingerprinter sign ONE of the pics. My guy did BOTH just to avoid hassle.


Should I be worried? Right now as it stands my 2 photo's are BOTH SIGNED by the FINGER PRINTER and ME
