I loved that whole thing, but I kind of want this on a tee shirt. That's just priceless.Jusme wrote: Too bad for Democrats there are zero electoral votes in the State of Denial.

Re: Trump Wins!
I guess that's a fair point. Although the only places I have seen ugliness directed at Obama has been "safe spaces" like these forums, where people know that those around them are typically like-minded. However, I don't use twitter or facebook or other such things. This forum and to a lesser extent a motorcycle forum are my social network. Well, that and talking to actual human beings in person. That's how out of touch with the times I am, I guess.Papa_Tiger wrote:Apparently you never visited the comments section of any political article in the past 4-8 years. There has been plenty of vitriol from the "right", including calling President Obama many horrible names and horrible allegations. Maybe the outpouring hasn't been as much on Twitter or Facebook or other social media venues, but the hate, vitriol and venom have been there for YEARS.LucasMcCain wrote:I've had the same thought. I keep hearing about how nasty all the liberals are being. I've had a few people try to argue "the conservatives would have been just as bad had Hillary won." The problem with that argument is Obama. We were super upset about him being elected. Where were the riots? Where was the massive wave of hateful vitriol across all forms of media? Where were the protest marches?
Still, I don't remember riots and protests. I do remember saying that despite the fact that I voted against Obama and disagreed with everything he stood for, that I wished him well and hoped that he would be a good president, because that's what the country needed. I did not personally pour out hate and vitriol at the man, much less his supporters. I simply hoped and prayed that he would make decisions that would benefit our country and the people in it. I was not the only person I knew expressing these sentiments. I have heard exactly zero people say this about Trump. Maybe I just don't pay attention to the right media outlets, though.

I don't think I've ever seen such nasty, whiny, brainless tripe in my life. And now there are "marches" in several cities. Schools having "safe spaces" so students can have a place to be with their feelings. All of those babies need to grow up. I bet that if HRC had been elected, you'd never see this stuff from conservatives. Makes me want to barf.

Re: Trump Wins!
The first thing my wife and I did this morning after seeing the news was stop and lift up prayers of thanksgiving, as well as pray that God continue to watch over our country and guide Trump and those around him.parabelum wrote:Praise be to the Lord Almighty, that He has shown mercy upon our Nation we didn't deserve.
