I know this is an old thread, but I decided to post here instead of starting a new one since this thread is about the Texas Capitol. My question is this, Do the guided tours give you access to more areas of the Capitol, that if you do not reserve a spot in a tour? Or can you still have access to all the same places if you are not part of a tour?
I have not been there since 1966.

Now that's funny right there. I wonder if her anti friends knows she has shot a gun?Soccerdad1995 wrote:I attended a wedding in Austin a few months back. One of the other guests at my table worked in the Capitol building as an aide or some such. She was staunchly anti-gun so she either worked for a Democrat, or Joe Strauss. Anyway, despite her anti-gun stance, she mentioned that she had gotten her LTC just so she could bypass the normal line.Liberty wrote:The CHL line is a shorter faster line than what the common folks have to endure.
