From what I have seen, I don't think it is the company's fault at all that the OP apparently bought the wrong belt.

I think it is the company's fault that they have no concept of customer service. Again just based on what the OP has posted.

Sometimes the best option from a company's perspective is to make it right for the customer even when the customer is at fault.

Unless you run a business and actually want to make money.

Then you say, I am so sorry this product did not work for you. Let me offer you a full refund and you don't even need to send in the defective product.

You turn a person who will complain to as many people as they can find into someone who has nothing to complain about. That's worth the money you are out (roughly $30 cost assuming a 100% mark-up).

And you might even have insurance or extended return protection with it. People make fun of me because i don't pay with cash, but yet i have a lot more protection with my credit card than cash.
:iagree: +1,000 on this. After the initial e-mail exchange, the next call would have been to Amex, or whoever issued the card.

I will not comment on the merits of this belt, other than to say that I would never buy any gun belt where the company is only claiming that it will hold up to 3 pounds of weight. A fully loaded 1911, holster, and a couple extra mags will easily exceed this weight, and I don't need a belt that I can only use for some weapons and not others.
